The Jay Morris Spinathon is on from 11:00 - 17:00 on 24 February at Club Carrefour in St Lawrence.

You're invited to spin for an hour slot at Club Carrefour, St Lawrence, to raise funds in memory of Jay Morris, a keen racing cyclist and founding member of the Velo Cycling Club, who died from cancer in 2003 at the age of 30.

It was first set up to raise awareness of Jay’s illness. He had planned to take part but died a few weeks before the event. Since then, Jay’s family have organised an annual Spinathon in tribute to Jay and as a fundraiser for Jersey Hospice Care.

We hope that around 60 people will take part, led by Club Carrefour’s instructors, who give their time free of charge for the event - which is also supported by Mark Pickford Cycles.
