Jump in this July!
We are delighted to be working again with The National Trust for Jersey on a this fun fundraising initiative, called ‘30 Bays in 30 Days’.
Participants, which can be individuals, families or groups, will aim to swim in 30 bays around the island in the month of July. The challenge will run between 1 and 31 July. Those taking part can choose to swim before work, lunchtimes, daytime, after work, before a picnic tea, by moonlight…basically anytime they can fit a swim in!
You don’t need to be a strong swimmer; you only need to swim 30 strokes in each of the bays. There will be organised swims to open and close the month long event, which will be open to everyone who registers. Between these events, you can decide where and when you swim to complete the challenge.
Opening and closing events
We hope that you will be able to join us for the opening and closing events, which will be held at the following locations:
Sunday 30 June : St Brelade’s Bay at 10:00
Wednesday 31 July : Wayside Slip, St Brelade’s Bay at 18:00
By coming along, you will get to see who else is joining in as you might bump into them during the month on July! It will also mean that on the days when you may not have anyone to swim with you can get hold of someone you know who has signed up or you can put a shout out through our social media pages for a swim buddy.
